Unicorn.pm was founded in the Netherlands by Jacco Koppes and two friends (senior software engineers) with a shared vision to transform how organizations manage their software portfolios. After working across multiple companies, we recognized the repetitive nature of software portfolio management and the limitations of traditional ERP systems.
We saw an opportunity to improve workflows, data quality and performance by applying automation and AI. That led us to build a platform that extends ERP and CMDB systems, automating content maintenance and delivering the clarity large organizations need.
We also value European-built technology. In a market dominated by non-EU platforms, we chose to base all our infrastructure and development within the European Union to ensure compliance, transparency and trust.
